The Purpose of Circle of Friends

Circle of Friends is a committed community of partners who walk alongside Mercy House as it equips women in Ndola, Zambia with the opportunity to rise above their circumstances with dignity and a new knowledge of their worth in Christ.

The purpose of Circle of Friends is to provide a dependable foundation that allows Mercy House to continue to serve with consistency and excellence. Sustaining our daily operational costs ensures that 100% of all additional general gifts can go directly towards impacting our Woman of Mercy Program.

Membership in Circle of Friends is an intentional partnership rooted in:

  • Prayer
  • Relationship, and
  • Investment in the Operations of Mercy House.

What Does Membership Mean?

Investment
Membership entails a three-year commitment of an annual financial contribution, put toward covering the cost of all operations of Mercy House.
Consistent Prayer
Regular prayer for women of Mercy House and the leaders serving alongside them. Prayer requests will be shared with members of Circle of Friends and more opportunities to pray with one another will be available.
Invitation
Invite others to learn about Mercy House by hosting or participating in small home gatherings or similar events. Inviting others into ministry together is a beautiful gift to further expand the Kingdom work.

The "Why" Behind Circle of Friends

Real Need: 
Many women in Ndola have a strong desire to work, provide for their families, and build a brighter future, but they often face significant barriers due to limited access to education, vocational training, and economic opportunities.

Real Solutions:

Mercy House exists to help change that reality. Through practical skills training, mentorship, business development support, and spiritual formation, women are equipped with the tools, confidence, and encouragement they need to build sustainable livelihoods, support their families, and move forward with renewed hope and purpose.
