Access to various basic health checks and health education
The Wellness Program provides an opportunity for women and their children to have access to various basic health checks and health education. Periodically, health clinics are conducted to provide women with diagnostic and referral services for specific diseases such as HIV, sexual problems, and other health issues that affect women and their children. The goal is to provide preventive care services to promote better health in families. Mercy House will accomplish this goal through partnerships with the Northrise University School of Nursing (NUSON), local public and private health institutions, and other stakeholders.
